“My mother recently moved into Charter Senior Living of Franklin. I love it, and they have welcomed her with open arms. It’s all on one level, and her room is a good size with a big window. The rooms circle a courtyard, and they always have baby ducks in there. We were told we could put a bird feeder out, and we did that. My mom is very happy there, which is important. Everyone is very caring. My mom said, ‘If I don’t go to dinner, they’re trying to find out where I am or if I’m OK.’ Everybody gets a button they can push if they need assistance, and staff will come right in. The family-style dining area is nice. They put a sheet out at the beginning of the month that lists all the different activities – from arts and crafts to going on a ride somewhere. Maintenance is provided. The executive director is very nice and very hands-on. Everyone works very hard to make sure everything is good.”
